Season 2011 wrapped up on Saturday 27th August with the final round of games played in fine conditions.
That afternoon about 80 players and their families gathered at the Dodges Ferry Rec Centre for the medallion presentations and major raffle draw.
Rock anthems heralded each team on stage to enjoy loud cheers and applause as their coaches presented the medallions.
Our players selected for the U10 and U12 2011 ERJSA squads also received regional representative medallions and the U6 players were the first to receive their Skills Award Level 1 certificates and white devil badges.
Then it was the coaches turn to be cheered as they each received a shiny DFJSA whistle in recognition of their dedication to our players this season and as encouragement to continue next season!
Many thanks to the hard working committee and other helpers who organised the event, especially Barb Lennox for her fabulous job with the medallions, raffle and lucky door and to all who donated prizes. The raffle raised $2200 for our club which will go towards new match balls and training equipment. Well done everyone and a big congratulations to all 26 winners!
