In a cohesive and confident performance the children outplayed their opponents to record their fifth win of the season. They were enthusiastic and unselfish and the victory was thoroughly deserved.
A particular highlight was Jordan’s second goal where he finished a wonderful move that saw Jonty sweeping up a loose ball at the back, Patrick chesting down the pass to his feet and turning his marker with a skillful pull back and feint before delivering a perfectly weighted through ball where Jordan, showing vision, positioning and intelligence beyond his years, ran over the ball to allow Nicholas possession and the opportunity to hold and then deliver a lovely cross that Jordan slotted in at the far post. It was a joy to witness and football that a team twice their age would have been proud of.
Overall, it was an outstanding effort and the kids finished the match with broad grins, rosy cheeks and a very loud cheer of GO DINGOES!!
