The team finished the first portion of the season in fine form scoring seven goals in each half to eventually win 14-nil. If allowed to play with unlimited freedom the score would have been much, much higher but as has the been the case in most games this year the children and the coach have had to change their original plans early on in an effort to curtail the goalscoring.
This week everyone in the team but goalkeeper Sam snagged a goal and even he went close a couple of times after he decided to leave his box and dribble the ball from one end of the field to the other. It was a good effort all round and we are all looking forward to a greater challenge when the season resumes after the school holidays.
